HELLO, I’M VAIDHYAPRAKASH

I DESIGN &
BUILD SYSTEMS
THAT SCALE

I’m a software engineer focused on building scalable, reliable software and cloud-native systems. I turn complex engineering challenges into simple, useful experiences and high-performance products that are built to last.

I Vaidhyaprakash

I’m a software engineer with 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems and cloud-native products. I specialize in event-driven and distributed systems, microservices, and AWS, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

I enjoy tackling complex problems, designing systems that scale, and turning ideas into dependable products. I’m constantly learning, challenging assumptions, and looking for better ways to build software.

MY JOURNEY

I TAKE PRIDE IN MY
EXPERIENCE

1054

Software Engineer II

Genworx.AI

Led 6 engineers in architecting and delivering an accounting automation platform that transformed document processing into an automated Procure-to-Pay workflow.

Architected a reusable Google Cloud Pub/Sub framework that standardized event-driven infrastructure across microservices.

Led an organization-wide testing modernization initiative, establishing standardized automation practices across unit, integration, regression, and E2E testing.

Designed a private Google Artifact Registry platform for secure, standardized distribution of internal libraries across microservices.

Designed batch-processing architecture for transforming time-series employee events into rule-driven work-hour calculations.

E0154

Senior Product Developer

SurveySparrow

Led the decomposition of SurveySparrow’s monolithic platform into 6 independently deployable microservices across Analyze, Billing, Integrations, EUI, Tickets, and Reputation, increasing squad autonomy, reducing deployment risk, and accelerating release cycles.

Spearheaded the end-to-end architecture and development of SurveySparrow’s Appnest platform, establishing the backend foundation for developer-built applications and enabling over $100K in revenue through app integrations.

Architected and delivered a scalable Webhooks infrastructure for real-time event delivery between core services and developer applications, including the full webhook lifecycle across creation, updates, pausing, deletion, and execution.

Designed volumetric billing and distributed rate-limiting mechanisms for Marketplace applications, enabling scalable monetization while protecting platform infrastructure under high event volumes.

Designed application-level storage with strict per-key memory enforcement and later evolved the architecture to provide effectively unlimited storage for enterprise customers, enabling broader developer use cases without compromising platform controls.

Owned critical release-management and reliability initiatives for SurveySparrow, strengthening deployment safeguards, vulnerability detection, and operational processes to maintain platform availability and reduce production risk.

Architected a Slack-driven emergency release workflow with approval gates, safety checks, automated release-channel creation, stakeholder notifications, and deployment orchestration, significantly reducing manual release-management effort.

Built severity-based error tracking and Slack alerting across AppNest, enabling immediate visibility into production failures and accelerating incident detection and response.

Established automated CI/CD quality gates spanning unit tests, coverage validation, ESLint, Code Owners enforcement, bundle-size analysis, and impact-area analysis, improving merge safety and preventing regressions before production.

E0154

Product Developer

SurveySparrow

Architected and built the Appnest platform from the ground up, developing backend services, a Java-based execution server, and a client-side JavaScript bridge that enabled developers to build and deploy custom applications with seamless frontend–backend integration.

Designed a resilient AWS Lambda-based batch-processing architecture that overcame platform execution-time limits, enabling reliable execution of long-running applications through asynchronous, fault-tolerant processing.

Integrated Redis into the AppNest microservice architecture to introduce high-speed distributed data access and improve the efficiency and scalability of application workflows.

Engineered dynamic language-aware display logic for surveys, resolving complex question-skipping scenarios caused by runtime language selection while preserving consistent respondent journeys across localized surveys.

Developed and enhanced executive dashboards with dynamic bar, line, and gauge visualizations, supporting multi-survey datasets while resolving complex data-processing and visualization issues.

Extended the NPS survey engine with new question types, advanced survey logic, and audio-response support, enabling richer data collection and more flexible customer-feedback workflows.
